Name:
Jeremy Katz
Schools:
I'm a developer at Red Hat in the Emerging Technologies group leading up much of the work which goes on in Fedora and helping to integrate new technologies into the OS. Recently, I have primarily been working on package management tools, the installer and the LiveCD related tools. I've also dealt with a lot of architecture bring-up, virtualization, SELinux, and a variety of other things.

In addition, I recently started in the Systems Design and Management Program (SDM) at MIT. I'm a 24 month "commuter" student which is nominally part-time.

Outside of work and school, I spend a fair bit of time on my bike riding with the group from Quad Cycles. I rode in my first race in October and am likely going to do more next season.
